Thank you for standing by a critically-ill veteran’s family while he was in and out of hospital:

Mission Critical assisted a Special Operations Sergeant Major who was diagnosed with kidney failure because of infections sustained from a downrange blast injury. He has been in and out of hospital since 2015 for multiple procedures, including a failed transplant. He has suffered MRSA infections from the surgeries, has endured multiple system failures, and was even placed in an 11 day medically induced coma.

Over the years, his family accrued over $3,000 in hotel and transportation expenses while visiting him in various hospitals around the country. Thanks to our generous donors, we were able to relieve them of this cost.

“I would like to send my family’s sincere thanks for the help we received from Mission Critical. Throughout all of my struggles, I’ve not had anyone do something like this for me, and for that I’m truly grateful. I have been critically ill for some time now due to the injuries I sustained in Iraq and at times I have felt quite frustrated with the added financial strain it has caused my family. I appreciate the support, and will never forget this. Bless everyone at Mission Critical who work hard reminding wounded troops that we are not alone in our fight.

Thank you for standing by our service men and women who have sacrificed life and limb preserving our way of life. I’m incredibly proud of the fact that I can call myself an American, and while my medical struggles are many, it is wonderful to know that I have the support of my country.”
