Thanks to your support, a Service Member from Florida received innovative treatment for his neck injuries:

It has been Mission Critical’s honor to help a service member from Florida who incurred multiple neck and back injuries from deployments and training. Despite various surgeries and treatments, he has suffered chronic pain in his head, neck, and back for the past five years, “As with most soldiers, you just deal with it and move on, but the quality of life for me and my family was poor at best.”

Thanks to the generous contributions of our donors, Mission Critical was able to fund two rounds of platelet-rich plasma (“PRP”) injections, which attempt to harness the blood’s natural healing properties to repair damaged cartilage, tendons, ligaments, muscles, or even bone.

“After a failed cervical surgery, Mission Critical allowed me to explore alternative options such as stem cell therapy which is not covered currently by our insurance. When Mission Critical sent me a note saying that they would help and asked me to stay in touch if I needed anything further it gave me hope!  Hope is a powerful thing.”

“Mission Critical is vital to our soldiers and such a blessing.  Our healthcare system is outstanding for acute immediate care, but for chronic issues the norm of prescription medications is not a long-term solution. This is why a lot of ‘main stream’ medical doctors are looking for alternatives because they are not seeing patients getting better.  This outside of the box thinking is what we as soldiers do daily to succeed in our missions.  Unfortunately, these modalities are not covered in our current healthcare system, but that paradigm will shift for our future soldiers I believe and hope!”

“I would like to re-iterate how important you, the donors, are to our current soldiers and veterans. Mission Critical’s services are vital to life off the battlefield which we must live daily. Words can’t express my gratitude and appreciation. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion!”
