Stem-cell therapy allowed this Marine to continue his military career:

It was our honor to assist Brian from CA, who has been suffering from multiple disc herniations in his lower back. After a failed surgery and dozens of hours of physical therapy, Brian still found himself debilitated and unable to perform his job. He has exhausted all treatment options offered through military medicine, including epidural steroid injections.

According to Brian, ”Facing the prospect of a much more invasive surgery to fuse vertebrae and a likely end to my military career, I sought alternative treatments and found stem cell and platelet rich plasma injections. The treatment is not yet covered by insurance, and I faced an enormous out-of-pocket cost for the treatment. Thankfully, Mission Critical Veteran Relief Fund volunteered to offset that cost, making the treatment viable. I am on-the-mend and continuing with full duties, and am immensely grateful to MCVRF and their donors to have the opportunity to continue in this profession that I love.”
